Ltd is a non-profit organisation offering accommodation and
catering services for Baradine. Camp Cypress was started in
2001 by a group of community-inspired people, wanting to promote
Baradine and surrounding areas.
Cypress provides an ideal accommodation and camping venue
especially for bird watching groups who regularly explore
the local bird routes of Baradine and the Pilliga Forest.
We offer a range of accommodation from ensuite airconditioned
cabins, camp sites, caravan sites (powered and unpowered)
to pavilion-style bulk accommodation.
Located approximately 500kms from Sydney and 45kms north-west
Camp Cypress is situated on 75 hectares of open woodland at
the Baradine Showground and old racecourse, only 1.5 km -
2 km from town services and sporting facilities. Make a day
trip to the famous opal mining town of Lightning Ridge, just
3½ hours away; or experience the soothing qualities
of the Pilliga
Hot Artesian Bore Baths, less than an hour's drive; or
visit the rugged Warrumbungle
Forest issues permits for mountain biking, motorcross, 4WDing,

Baradine at the State Forest Administration Centre (cnr Lachlan

Baradine has a new National Parks and Wildlife Discovery Centre,
including a Tourist Information Centre, in Wellington Street;
